THE POLITICAL LEADERSHIP OF WOMEN OF COLOR: What's Research Got to Do with It?

Join in a conversation with five dynamic community leaders who are carrying out research projects regarding the advancement of women of color in politics through an innovative partnership with the Women’s Pipeline for Change. Elizabeth Cardona, Martina Cruz, Holyoke Councilwoman Gladys Lebrón-Martínez, Sheneal Parker, and Fitchburg Mayor Lisa Wong will discuss their journeys as community activists, political candidates, and researchers. Professor Paul Watanabe will moderate the discussion.
