I wish you invite to you attend a very special screening of the critically-acclaimed documentary, The Supreme Price, October 27, 6:30pm, Cambridge Main Library, followed by a discussion with the filmmaker, Joanna Lipper.

The Supreme Price takes an in-depth look at Nigeria’s female-directed democracy movement emerging in a troubled country struggling to develop after military dictatorship. It tells the story of a battle “for gender equality and democracy in a nation where both have been repressed for decades.”

The screening will be followed by a Q+A with local filmmaker Joanna Lipper, author and lecturer at Harvard University where she teaches Using Film for Social Change. The discussion will be moderated by Busayo Olupona, attorney, designer, and CEO & Founder of Busayo.

PLEASE CIRCULATE WIDELY TO YOUR NETWORKS!
