It’s hard to believe that our September Women&Words is right around the corner! Please join us on September 7 and share with your networks. It’s sure to be an interesting evening. Remaining Positive in the Age of Climate Change Thursday, September 7 • 7–8:30pm City Hall Annex, 344 Broadway, Cambridge While climate change is on most people’s minds these days, it’s hard not to feel overwhelmed. Dr. Jen Bowen of Northeastern University’s Marine Science Center will lead a discussion on how climate scientists are developing strategies to engage communities in local-level climate solutions.
Dr. Bowen’s research focuses on how microbes that live in coastal environments are helping to combat major challenges on the global change front, including climate change and coastal pollution.
