Mapping LGBTQ+ Cambridge History: Collective Brainstorming Session

What does LGBTQ+ history in Cambridge look like to you? Come share your answer to this question, as we build a collective history of LGBTQ+ Cambridge. Facilitators will begin with a brief presentation, followed by an open discussion and mapping activity in which we invite community members to co-create a timeline of LGBTQ+ history.

Siobhan Bredin, author of Casebook of the Marshall Sisters Detective Agency: Nine Roaring Twenties Mystery Play Scripts, will lead a presentation on the history and mystery of radio drama, all through the lens of Cambridge women's history. 

Inspired by historical figures in Cambridge, the fictional Marshall Sisters work for social justice by solving cases involving suffragists, civil rights advocates, labor organizers, mediums, bootleggers, secret society members, movie directors, journalists, and vaudeville impresarios
